Newcomer requires help.

I am new to the world of GPS and require an in car navigation system.

My enquiry is in 3 parts: -

1. If money were no object what system would you recommend?

2. Which system do you believe offers the best value for money?

3. I know the world of electronics is constantly evolving but are there any new systems about to be launched that are worth waiting for?
