Default Help with 1st pda/sat nav

Hi there

I need to buy my 1st pda/sat nav product and have decided on Tom Tom, but unsure as to the pda.

Choices at the moment are: HP 3175, 2210 or Dell Axim X3i.

All seem OK, I will need for word, excel, outlook, etc.

My main concern is that I dont want wires all over the place, and I dont want to buy the wrong product. The Axim at £269 looks like the best option on this site, but is does mention 'wired GPS'. Being a novice, I am not sure what that means!!!

I need help please - no wires, and best package for the price needed.

Thanks
Mark

Welcome to our forums.
The DELL referrs to a wired GPS as it has no Bluetooth therefore the receiver must be connected to the PDA via a cable. If you want no cabling then a Bluetooth system is recommended. Either of the iPAQs will do the job and they all include Word, Excel and Outlook.
