Question Heated front screens

Hi folks,
This is my first post, so please be gentle! Before I put the credit card on melt down...

I just wondered if anybody had any bad experiences using a in car GPS with heated front screen. Do the heating filaments cause a problem?

Welcome to our forums.
Heated screens can completely block GPS signals from getting to your receiver. Ways around this are to use a Bluetooth receiver and put it in the back window or get and external antenna. Some car manufacturers have patches in the corners or lower edges of the screen which doesnt have the elements so you can position you receiver there.
