Default Tomtom stopping Navman?

I have used SmartST v2 (service pack 2) with my Navman 4410 receiver on an ipaq 2210 with no problems until I also installed Tomtom 3.07. with Checkpoint and ukpostcode. I have done a complete hard reset (without using back up) and still have the same problem. Navman installed on it's own works fine. Add Tomtom and that works fine but stops Navman working. The problem is Navman seem unable to keep the tick in the little box used for selecting the gps unit, it just un-ticks it'self after a couple of seconds. I am not trying to run both at the same time but would like the ability to use either.

All suggestions welcome

The problem is that any tomtom gps driver older than 2.07 locks any other program from accessing the GPS, if you degrade to 2.07 both will work together.

Stevie. Thanks for the reply and I really do get the idea you know how to cure my problem. How do I (step by step would be good) check my gps driver version ...are we saying Tomtom 3.07 comes supplied with a gps driver later than 2.07? Where can I get an earlier driver from? and how do I down grade it?.....Will I loose anything important by down grading?
Would you also give me a price (though the Mrs. will kill me if I buy another set of Navigation software) on SmartST v3 and the cost of activating the European maps.

Many Thanks
