Gps Problem (i Think!!)

really need help with this one....i have a tom tom 3 with ipaq 3970 it has been working fine up until about a month ago..i had to reinstall and after doing so when i set destination it takes about half and hour to pick up a signal which is really annoying....anyone got any ideas...is it my gps receiver, settings or something else....i wondered re reflective windscreen but am ruling that out cos i am using the same cars!!


i should have said i am getting a pulse from gps to unit on gps screen and the grey bars plus the gps light is on ..previouly it would take approx 5 to 10 mins to get a fix..please help

I get this problem occasionally with my similar Ipaq 3950 & TomTom 3, but a soft reset returns things to normal.
