Portable PDA/GPS

Hi everyone,

Im looking at getting a pda and i like the HP iPaq series, however i would quite like to have GPS route planning to be used both in a car and also on foot/on a bike. What hardware is there avalible that i could use, does systems like bluetooth and GPS pockets have to be in a car?
