I'm looking for a gps adapter for my laptop as there are no maps for ireland I'm going to use auto route 2005 and therefore need a suitable adapter

you can get serial GPS or does you laptop have bluetooth?

I have a bluetooth adapter. Will my tomtom bluetooth adapter work with my laptop?

Yes it will but ensure your routing software supports Bluetooth GPS devices.
