GPS on MDAII

I have a T Mobile MDA II. I have just purchased a WondeProud GPS
> receiver but cant get the MDA to see the GPS receiver. I have tried

Please don't double post.

We are not familiar with your receiver. What software are you using it with and what options do you have available in the settings section?

I am using the receiver with Medion Navigator software. The options allow me to change the port (serial, USB, infra-red etc) and the baud rate. I've tried various baud rates from 4300 upwards but still nothing. If you are familiar with the software you will know that it displays a GPS! warning in red in the top-right corner of the screen - this is all i get.
