Default Frustration!! GPS Signal Dropping Out... HELP PLEASE

Hi All,

I have a HP Ipaq 2210 and I am running co pilot live and Tom Tom3 software. I hook up through bluetooth to the antenna.

My problem is that just recently when using either of the sat nav packages, the screen freezes after a maximium of 20 seconds. To remedy the situation I can either exit the software then start it again or switch off the receiver then turn it on again.
Either of these actions work as in getting the sat nav running again, but it only lasts about 10 / 20 sec's then freezes again. It is SO frustrating.

What do you think the problem is? PDA or receiver, and what should I do to resolve the problem.

Thanks guys and gals

Lee

Are you using SD or CF memory?

If you are using SD change to CF due to there is a known issue with your PDA running bluetooth and locking up when accessing a SD memory card.

Hi, Thanks for your reply.

Yes I am using SD, does CF fit into the same slot then?

No,
CF goes in the slot behind the SD slot.

Mine only has one slot, so does that mean I am stuck with only using SD? And if so does that also mean I cannot fix my problem?

Thanks

Ok. After speaking to one of the representatives on the phone, I have found that I have a CF card slot but I didn't realise it was there!! I have ordered a card up and should be here tomorrow.

My pc has various card reader slots so can I just copy and paste from my current SD to the new CF?
