Thumbs up Marine use

Hi, I am desperate for guideance, help, and support with my quest for info? I want to use a PDA to receive marine software from my PC. Transport it to my boat. Slip the PDA into a cradle of some sort which will power it from the boat 12V system. Use its own GPS or the fitted boat GPS system. Display the route info either on the PDA screen or the boat screen. Then drive my boat via the autopilot??? Anyone with any form of info on the above please help.
Thank you.
