which GPS system for PDA Hi everyone,
I've seen a lot of posts relating to this question but not a lot of threads of reviews on other GPS systems (maybe I haven't looked around enough).
Anyway, the two I'm looking at are the Co-Pilot and the new Navman 4410. I've heard TomTom2 is very good however I've heard that it's really only the graphics are more fancy and driving around I'd rather have decent instructions and easy menus to use so the 3D views of TomTom are not the main features I'm interested in. There are a lot of ppl that seem biased towards the TT but what of the other ones? I also like the extra features the Co-Pilot seems to have, including easy to read directions etc.etc. How does the new 4410 fare against this? Now if I get a GPS receiver separately is the Co-Pilot just as good as say the Emtac or the GlobalSat one? I've heard great reviews on these.
I am going on a cruise to the Caribbean around mid-May and would like to take my GPS system with me. Are Maptech maps ideal or can you recommend any others? Would I be able to use one of the above GPS packages with other software ie. use Co-Pilot/4410 hardware with other s/w?
Any advice would be really helpful!
Thanks,
