home address help

hi guys,
just bought a typhoon 3500 and i'm very happy with it. the only problem i've got is that i can't alter my home address in the settings menu. the manual shows a picture of a keyboard to enter info but all i can see is boxs with a flashing cursor but no means of entering info. very frustrating!
