Update Help

Can Someone Help I Bought A Go 300 Today And Im Trying To Update It And Then Install The Speed Cameras To It But When I Connected It To Pc Screen Shows Back Of Tom Tom With Usb Connected,is This Updating Or Is There Something Wrong Can Someone Help Thanks
