Navman Pin 570 vs Acer n35 Hi Guys,
Wondered whether anyone can assist me in choosing from one of the above.
This will be my first GPS (and PDA) device and I've chosen GPS via PDA for the fact that it is easy to remove from the vehicle and carry around, you get a hand held PC and also is the cheaper option.
I'm presently looking at a Navman Pin 570 with speed camera database at £240 (from a different website) or an Acer n35 with no speed camera database at £250 from Currys.
I understand that the Navman is a clone of the Acer but am not sure whether either of them are 'better'. Also, I have been advised that it is possible to download the speed camera database for free from the Internet or alternatively purchase it for £60 to £70.
If the Acer is a 'better' PDA and I can download the speed camera database for free then I will probably spend the extra £10. If however the speed camera database costs £60 to £70 I'll probably go for the Navman, regardless of whether it is an inferior PDA.
I hope someone out there is able to assist.
Thanks
