Default Mobile sat nav

Bit of a novice one this....my HP 4150 is now working fine in the car with TT5, complete with an integral Arkon receiver/holder, which is the primary purpose.
Can I also use the 4150, with an extended battery, for use on the hills ? I certainly don't want to cut across and screw up TT5, but what would I need to take it out of the car for walkabouts ,apart from buying I assume a bluetooth receiver ? Hope this makes sense as I've been looking at memory maps for walking, which seems pretty impressive to run with the HP, but I'm worried about any potential conflicts..thanks.

Id recommend a Bluetooth reciever, memory map, the battery and some sort of weather protection for the PDA.

I have used tomtom and a couple of other GPS programs on my system without any conflicts.

If you give me a call I will go over some options for you.
