Missed the deadline for Tom Tom 3 upgrade

Missed the deadline for Tom Tom 3 upgrade

I missed the Tom Tom " deadline" to upgrade from v3 to v5 and now Tom Tom want some £140.00 instead of , I think, €49 - what a difference! The last time i logged on to the TT site in November 2005 there was no mention of the time limitation so I thought I would wait until January 2006 before purchasing the upgrade - bad mistake! Does anyone know if it is possible to obtain this upgrade at the €49 price?
