Default Seidio G2500 Tungsten

Hi!

first post!! Need some advice!

I ordered a Seido amplified car mount for my Tungsten T3 PDA and it arrived today...

When I have opened the package and come to assemble the mount with the goose neck bracket, it becomes obvious that it does not fit.

The goose neck bracket has the suction pad end, and the end which is suppose to fit onto the back of the Seidio unit. This end has raised clips shaped like an L that are supposed to fit into a hole and then lock the goose neck into place.

However, the Seidio unit does not have holes to receive these L shaped
clips!

I think that the wrong goose neck bracket has been dispatched to me.

Can anyone advise about the correct gooseneck bracket, please? I think the locking plate of the gooseneck needs to be flat with no projections.

The second problem is that I was advised to purchase I ( 19417 )
Holux/Rikaline PS2 GPS to Tom Tom Kit/Seido mount.

I thought I did not need this as my GPS Holux Sim 236 is a bluetooth model,
but I was told it was necessary.

I can see where the connector of the Holux/Rikaline PS2 cable fits into the
Seidio cradle, but there is NO PS2 connector on my Gps Holux Slim236.

Therefore this cable, costing £5.00 was not needed afterall.

Any help and advice appreciated!

Ofiaich

Welcome to our forums.
Have a look @ http://www.totalpda.co.uk/forum/faq....l&titlesonly=0 .
It sounds like your missing the piece shown in the left hand image in the middle row?

The cable adapter is not required in yor situation.
