Question All advice welcome

Hi everybody,

I was wondering if I could pick your brains a little bit, I am currently on the look out for a suitable sat nav system based on my needs, which are as follows...

I drive an ambulance so would primarily like to use it for work but also in my own vehicle on days off..

Is there a system that allows you to input multiple via's so I can input all my pick-ups and my one final destination, or better still is there a system that would sort them into geographical order for me (time saver)

I dont really want to spend more than £300 if I can help it

I'm not after a system that you need a degree to operate

Does the route that you input give you a rough ETA or journey length?

Any advice is welcome as I am really new to the sat nav world, any tips or advice would be gratefully received, thanks in advance...

Regards

Foggy

I believe CoPilot has route optimisation which after inputting your 'destinations', or via's' it will sort from where you are to your final destination.

TomTom software has a route itinerary but you would have to enter your destinations/waypoints in the order in which you plan to visit. If you do the same pickups each day/week, you can save the itinerary to use another time.

When you enter your destination you will get an estimate of arrival time, which is fairly accurate under normal conditions. Once you commence your journey the ETA changes according to your speed and distance remaining.

TomTom ONE from > http://www.globalpositioningsystems....15-in-car.html at £254.95 is well within your budget.

Whichever unit you decide on, make sure you have full postcode search for when there is no house number, only a name, or you are calling on a block of flats.
