Navman 3450 and tom tom 5

Hi, i have an ipaq h3760, a navman 3450 se and tom tom 5. When i open tom tom 5 it tells me there is no gps device but the ipaq picks it up. I have also changed the settings to tom tom gps (ipaq sleeve) and gps reciever but it still wont pick it up. Can anyone shed some light?
