Go to the memory icon in settings and check running programs, make sure that you don't have any other bluetooth software open. It could be tieing up the connection.
Cheers,

Yeah I'm tinking that could be the problem. The PDA says it is paired through the bluetooth device via SERIAL PORT but doesn't say which one. How do I tell?

Also, when I look at Bluetooth manager, it shows in My Shortcuts the GPS which is called BTGPS 155A27 :Serial port. When I hold thestylus on it and click connect, it does connect to the GPS receiver. When I go to the Active Connections tab it shows an Outgoing Connection but not Incoming.
Is this correct? Also, after a minute or so it looses the connection.

Advice please?

ok, a bit more progress. In the ToTom GPS programme, I have succesfully chosen the correct GPS equioment and com port (8) because on the status tab it is showing a signal and the bars are up showing a signal.
However, it still won't recognise it in TomTom Navigator.

What can I do?
