External GPS Aerial

Hi,

I am changing my car to a Renault Laguna II and have been informed that there is great difficulty getting a Satellite lock on through the Athermic windscreen.

I have a Palm TX with TomTom 5 and a TomTom Bluetooth reciever it does have a connection on it for what looks like an external aerial. Can anybody tell me if the product below will work with it?

My Citroen has an athernic windscreen and I find by standing outside the car to get a 'lock' before setting up inside works fine, as there is an uncoated area behind the rear view mirror, set up in the middle of your dash and the 'weakened' signals should still get through.
