TomTom5 Acer N50 Problem

Please Help,

I have an Acer N50 Premium and a Bluetooth BT GPS device. I have them connected as other Bluetooth device in tomtom. I am using TomTom Nav 5 and it works fine. However, every so often TomTom will close down with no warning and the pda goes back to the windows screen. It doesn't do it after the same amount of time so it doesn't seem to be any power save setting. I have tried setting the Bluetooth device as other Cable NMEA GPS and it still does it. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions.

I had almost the same problem with the program, every now and then the tomtom would shut down, and when i restarted the program the startup icon was spaced away (further away from the bluetooth icon each restart). I found taking off the POIs (settings > hide POI) can have the tomtom going. you can still navigate to the POIs by using navigate to, but you wont be able to see the POIs on the maps

Also try to find the 5.21 update for v5, i believe that fixed a lot of these problems.
I think its still on the tomtom site but i still have it if you need it, it was a free update so i think it should be ok.

Im on V6 anyway now so dont need it.
