Default Upgrading current in car sat nav

Hi,
Have just purchased a new car (well new to me) The car has a very basic intergrated satnav setup. No screen as such just a small LCD output tell yo to turn left/right etc. I have no experience of satnav and am wondering if I can take advantage of the cars receiver and add my PDA with satnav software. I guess the issue is how do I connect receiver to my PDA.

Is this possible, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Simon

I think it would be quite hard to find a cable that would connect to your PDA from this kind of GPS. You would need to get in touch withe the people that make the system.

It might not be possible though.
