I Got O2 Xda Wm 2003,tomtom 5,bt 77 Gps The Problem Is:
I Cant Stablished Contact With A Gps Cos I Got No Port
On Pda Bluetooth Setting.
On The Pda Setting I Got>bluetooth Setting>mode>on>off>
Discoverable ( No Ports As Com 2,6,9...)
And On Tomtom Gps Setting I Got,
Gps Is Connected To:
Infrared Port
Bt On Com6
Serial Cable On Com1
Com9
Com2
Serial On Usb.
How To Add Com Ports In My Pda

i am using wm 5 on pda and tomtom 5 with BT GPS .the problem is pairing with tom tom only as the bt gps is paired with mda vario and
i have the similar problem and my out going port is com6 and incomin is com7.when i try to pair with tom tom it doed not show com 6 in gps status.i have tried other blue tooth gps initially .i have tried cable NMEA GPS with all possible GPS BAUD RATE 1200,2400,4800,9600,19200,38400,57600and 115200.

i shall be grateful if any one tells how to add desired com port in existing ports in the GPS status menu on tom tom 5

i just setup hp ipaq 2210.once the receiver is paired to pda i opened tt5 and on gps setup nmea/9600 baud rate/bluetooth com6
although my pda says com8. but just keep trying until the black/yellow circle starts spinning then wait for it to lock on

The XDA II comes only with support for BT headsets and ActiveSync through BT. The serial port emulation is also a feature of the Microsoft BT stack but you need a device driver a register port and to handle it

I have managed to get the xda to look for my blue tooth gps I used in the Tom Tom settings a other cable GPS preferance with BT on Com6, the wheel on the gps signal page start turning however it nover pick up the signal have you managed to get any further since May
