Default Help me, please help me!

I've bought a bluetooth GPS receiver not so long ago for use with my laptop and PDA. It worked great until I started playing with those protocol thingies SIRF and NMEA. As it has SIRF Star 3 chipset I thought why not use the SIRF protocol, and I got an app which is used to change protocols so I did it several times, I've experimented with all kinds of stuff (including different baud rates) and now my GPS is DEAD It still transmits bluetooth signal - my laptop and PDA can pair (connect) with it but no application (not even CEmonitor or apps I got with the receiver) can find it.

Can I undo the damage? There is no reset switch on the receiver

Thank you VERY much on your help!
