Unhappy Please help

Hi I have an XDA 2s and have recently bought Tom Tom mobile which I can navigate round with no problem using the keyboard. I have also bought a bluetooth gps receiver. I have done the pairing etc and the phone recognises the receiver. The problem I have is when I try to configure the gps on the Tom Tom none of my keys will take me to the next stage yet they will work on all the other menus. When I press a key to configure it goes back to the menu. I have tried tapping the screen also but this doesn't work either.

I would be grateful if anyone has any ideas on what I can do.
