o2 xda exec with a wired gps receiver is it possible

hello all can anybody tell me if it is possible to have a wired gps receiver with an xda exec pda/phone i have been told it is not possible but i saw one for sale on ebay with a wired receiver http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEDW%3AIT&rd=1, the reason is if i have bluetooth on inside my car i get headaches from it.

As far as im aware its not possible due the mini USB connection they use.
