Blind man needs help

Hi



I am partially sighted, so find it difficult to find my way around. I am looking for a GPS system that I can use on foot. I use the bus a lot so need on that I can put in my bag/pocket with headphones. I then need it to tell me if possible the number of the house I am at or a range so I can narrow it down. I have from time to time had the police called as I need to walk right up to the door to see the number. I see the funny side of this and the police are then more the helpful to tell me which door I need.



The main points I am looking for are



1 Full postcode

2 Being able to hide it in bag/pocket and still get a signal

3 House number ranges if possible.
