Acer N10 TomTom software crashing problem

Does anyone else have this problem, sometimes i will start up my PDA wanting to use tomtom, and its re-set the PDA back to factory settings meaning i have to install the software again.

This is either a result of the PDA not being used for a while and the battery running out/low, or by powering off the PDA without shutting down the tomtom software properly.

Its a pain because iv had to re-install the software tons of times because of this.

Ensure you have your battery back up battery installed as per your N10 manual.

Some devices use the main battery for backup, meaning the PDA is told main bat is at 0%, yet this is 100% battery backup. As such this means you need to ensure you keep your battery charged.

Ensure BT & WiFi are in flight mode, set device to power off after x minutes of no use (make as low as poss) as sometimes devices power on and this kills the batteries - including backup!
