Wink orange m3100 - btgps74g - tom tom 5

Hi all

I seem to have a problem that is beyond me, i have an orange spv m3100 mobile phone i have loaded tom tom 5 onto this phone the tom tom 5 appears to have loaded fine on the phone but i can't seem to link up the blue tooth gps reciever (btgps74r) to the phone, the phone picks up the reciever i then asign a com port to the blue tooth reciever ie incoming = com 2 and outgoing is com 0 i then open up the tom tom program and go to gps status-configure and choose other gps device it says gps is connected to com3 , com 7, and ril on com6 i cannot change any of these and cannot select any of these when setting up the blue device...........if any one has any ideas i would be grateful.

Cheers
Mat

You should NOT configure any ports on the device.

Simply pair the device, and let TomTom do all the managing of ports.

A mate had problems pairing his phone, so he decided not to pair it and tomtom connected ok without it. See if it will work for you.
