Red face PDA's - O.S. references from a Loox 100?

My knowledge of GPS is a bit scant. I bought a Fujitsu-Siemens Loox 100 a few months ago and never use it. Untrustworthy for driving, often giving totally wrong directions. I now need a device for walking (waterproof?)which will give me an Ordnance Survey map reference without having to put in a route. I guess I will need to buy Memory Map. Can I get the Loox to run it or do I need a new PDA? The Loox will give me a latitude/longitude at present (requiring a route) but nothing else. Any suggestions in the lower price bracket? Thanks!

The loox will run memory map. You will be able to use your existing GPS as well.

These should take care of waterproofing issues,
