Sat Nav crash

Hi.. Wonder if anyone can help..
My husbands Rac Sat Nav has just crashed.. He has tried to reset, but to no avail.. Rac has suggested that we return the chip to be reset by them.. This is too slow a process.. The Rac Sat Nav 200 uses Route 66 software.. Does anyone know where we could download this software to reset the Sat Nav ourselves..
