Ive been running Tomtom 3 on my XDA2 for six months now and it works like a dream. No lock ups like on my original IPAQ 2210. Its probably because of the improved RAM.
It is best used with the tomtom bluetooth adapter and if you buy an Arkon multimedia mount, you can keep it charged up via this also which is the usual major downside of the bluetooth unit.
An added bonus is that it crosses over to the phone application seamlessly upon an incoming call and then you can go back to the map with 2 clicks during your conversation.
The key for me was the cradle. Get that sorted and its great! |
