Default Medion Smartphone, can't configure for email etc

I have a new Medion Smartphone, model MDSp150. I believe it’s based on the Sagem myS-7. I am using a Vodafone Pay As You Talk sim card.

I can’t configure it for the Internet or GPRS. I keep getting the message “Verify your dial-up or proxy settings are correct”. I’ve looked at your threads for other Smartphones, but the instructions don’t tally with the options on my phone.

I’ve been in to Vodafone and Carphone Warehouse, and spoken to Vodafone and Medion by phone. None of them knows what I should be doing. Medion tech say all I need to do is tell Vodafone I have a Windows mobile based device; when I do this, Vodafone say they can’t help, and it wouldn’t work with PAYT anyway (funny, it worked just fine on my last phone with the very same sim card!)

Where do I obtain the relevant settings and how do I input them, and how come it’s so easy for Vodafone to do it for any other model but this???

Hi Hez37

I recently posted the settings on another forum, if you go here, you should be able to get yourself up and running.

Hope this helps
