Question Which to chose?

Hi guys, newbie signing in here! I'm about to spend some cash on a PDA satnav system for the car but can't decide which to go for. I've got about £400 to spend (exc VAT) to cover the whole deal and knowing squat about these things, I've narrowed it down to two;

4651 - Palm Tungsten T3 with Navman 4460 Bluetooth GPS- http://www.totalpda.co.uk/Palm-Tungs...tooth-GPS.aspx

or,

4827 - Navman 4410 with iPAQ 2210 and InterPDA Mount-

http://www.totalpda.co.uk/Navman-441...PDA-Mount.aspx

Any ideas welcome - must be everything needed and have full European coverage; bluetooth and anything else that you can recommend!

Many thanks

Thumbs up

Hi there,

i was in a similar position to yourself. I was going to buy a Ipaq 5550 with Tomtom 3, the 'top of the range' sat nav pda system.
I just bought a new Mondeo Ghia X, and did'nt really want to spend £1200 on Ford's in-built sat nav. Mainly for the reason that when you sell the car you lose out.
So i shopped around, and am now due to buy a TOMTOM 'GO'. (TomTom.com)

I reallly done some research into this bit of kit, and it 'does exactly what it says on the tin' . It's easy to use, transferable between vehicles, touch screen display, everything in one neat little package thats sits on your dashboard, they even include a mounting bracket, chargers etc.

Not only that, i understand also you can 'download' traffic camera sites, so it will flash up on the screen if you approach any camera's.

Pda's are o.k if your going to take it out of the car and use it for other things.
But if you want a serious bit of navigational kit, like me you'll now where to put your money!!

Hope this helps you out !
