Worried Grandparents

Hello to all Forum Readers.
we are grandparents of a 10 year old little girl who have been
diagnosed PDA by the Elizabeth Newson Centre. But we seem
to be stuck with paediatricians and councillors who do not
recognise PDA as an illness. This leads to all kinds of problems
and complications, within the family group.and we are restrained
from having a "normal" family relationship, We try so very hard to
encourage and support her mum.
Is there anybody who have the same problems ? and if so can they offer any advice.
