iPaq cx 7200 travel companion problems

wonder if anyone can advise me.I acquired recently and have been trying to sync it to my Mac ( using Missing sync) and managed to establish a link only some sectors ie entourage,bookmarks notes and photos .Theresty gave me error messages.Anyway after maintaining the usb connection with my Mac for two days the screen on the iPaq has gone completely blank and the connection broken.Its not been dropped or damaged that can tell.i am wondering whether cable is now faulty or the battery.Any advice please

Try a soft reset with it on charge.

I habe got the screen back but having difficlty synchronising mainly because the instructions given and the disc are only Windows compatible Having said that i Installed Missing Link software which should enable e to sync all the different sectors. At the moment i cant even get the i Paq( which is a 5200 not 7200 btw) to recognise the blue tooth connection eve though the Mac does
