Unhappy 1 hours and still nothing

Hi There

Just want to know if I have missed something

I have just received my IPAQ 5550 Refurbished Euro Spec have plugged it in with a Euro -> UK adapter and still after 1 hour nothing.. Does this mean its DOA???

Anyone have any suggestions?

When you plugged it in does the charge light (red) start to flash ? You charging it in the mount or using the dongle that connects to the AC charger ?

there are no lights on at all.. I have left it on the cradle for about 30-40 mins with nothing so I am now using the dongle which is where it is now and has been for about 20 mins

ITS ALIVE... ALIVE......


I pressed the hardware reset and then pressed the power button and at came alive and now I have a flashing amber light.. )

You will find HP know about this, when both the batteries in the PDA are totally dead the PDA does not know what one to charge first so it does nothing. You need to either do a hard reset or keep pressing the soft reset button.

What are the differences between the UK and the Euro spec versions of the 5550? Is the power supply the only difference?
