I have just brought a Ipaq 5550 and have a question..

Thanks

Yes. From FILE EXPLORER on your iPAQ tap on the little hand icon on the bottom toolbar and you'll get an OPEN box that pops. Type in the net name or IP address of what you want to connect to then input username/password if required and you should connect and see all available shares on that PC.

One piece of advice...You will need to go into START ---> SETTINGS ---> SYSTEM ---> ABOUT ---> DEVICE ID and change the "Device name" as Windows PCs wont recognise the default Pocket_PC name assigned to the iPAQ. Pick something that doesn't have an _ in it.

There is a tool that'll work like Network Neighbourhood. I came across is few weeks ago on a site (think it may have been pocketgear.com) it wasn't free though.
