Question Decent car mount

I've got a HP 2210, bluetooth gps, and Sony Ericsson T610.... and not forgetting a Renault Megane..

I've been trying to find a reasonable solution for mounting these in my car for about a year now, and seem to find something, which is initially great, but then fails after a while....

I've currently got a suction pad for the mobile, which fixes to the windscreen, however both the sticker that holds the plastic pad that the suction connects to, and also the suction pad itself, have now started falling off repeatedly; which whilst driving is extremely annoying!

Not forgetting the PDA. Same sort of scenario, tried sticky pads using the mount on the top of my dashboard, but again, this has started falling off, when in use - the last time, while I was on the motorway at about 80 mph - not fun in the outside lane, with a pda wrapped around your feet!

I've thought about using screw fixings, but as I'm likely to want to sell my car, in the near future, I don't really want to ruin the dashboard.

Does anyone have any good suggestions?

Cheers
Nunners

Clean the windscreen and the sucker on the mount with an alcohol prep pad. Just make sure they are both spotless and they should stay on. Mine kept fallin off after a few weeks until I cleaned them.

These people do 'Drill Free' brackets etc. for each model of car I bought one. popped out my stereo, clipped it in then pushed the stereo back in. Great ! no holes and a good strong bracket to fasten my PDA mount onto. just by the stereo so handy for the charge cable etc.

They seem a tad expensive. Can't see any diagrams on their site with fitting instructions. Do you get any with the mount?

I paid about £15 for mine. Came with instructions. They are designed for Mobile Phone Car Kit systems but my Seidio screwed on perfectly. TomTom car kit should fit perfect too.

Anything has to be better than a suction pad stuck to a windscreen, looks much more fitted.

What a pleasure to find another discerning guy with the same gadgets that I have - "HP 2210, bluetooth gps, and Sony Ericsson T610.... and not forgetting a Renault Megane.."!! Is yours a Megane Classic RXE 2.0 ??

I'm just getting into buying a mount and am favoring the Holux CR100. Any ideas?
