What PDA are you using and which version of tomtom?

Do you have lots of POI's showing as this can slow down the map.

Reset you device to see if it is quicker. If not, check if you have too many POI shown.

Maybe your PDA's cup is too slow for Tomtom cuz the file is too big. Maybe you have too much POIs in your GPS.

Thanks gents for all the tips.

But just a thought......what GPS should I be using??,in the PDA it gives you-

NMEA gps receiver
TomTom Bluetooth GPS
TomTom wired GPS
Other Bluetooth GPS

and then it asks
GPS baud rate?

and then

COM3
Internal AGPS NMEA
COM4
COM6
COM2

I,ve set it to
NMEA GPS receiver
GPS baud rate 9600
Internal AGPS NMEA

But it takes ages to find a signal?

Any help would be great.
TomTom Navigator 6 and installed onto a Symbol MC35.

I am considering to buy a GPS software. How is Tomtom? You are using it and I hope you could tell me your experience.
