Default PDAs and powerpoint presentations

Hi all, first post from me wanting some help please.

I am thinking of getting a pda to save having to carry my laptop around all the time, but the main reason I carry it is for powerpoint presentations. As I am new to all the pda info can anyone offer advice on which is the best route to go down - pocket pc, palm base, how to get the presentation onto the pda and then an lcd projector etc.

I have seen about "presenter to go" - anyone got any experience with it?

Also, I just saw that there will soon be a new Dell handheld which (according to expansys) has an option for a vga output which may be interesting, are there any other pdas which have this.

Loads of questions there, but any help gratefully received.

Andy

Welcome to our forums.
I've used Lifeview Presenter (http://www.totalpda.co.uk/LifeView-FlyPresenter-CF.aspx) which does a good job. I'd recommend a PocketPC system for compatibilty and support reasons. You can get the files on the PDA very easily using Activesync or memory cards. I haven't heard of the DELL with a VGA out. I know the new models will have VGA screen resolutions.
