Completly baffled - would appreciate some honest advice!

Hi there
I would love a pda and my lovely dad has told me he will buy me one for Christmas but after reading posts in this forum and searching the internet for reviews I am still none the wiser to which model to get!!
I already have a laptop (xp) and a C500 mobile which runs windows mobile 2003 so I am familiar with these os's. And basically I want a pda to replace all the junk note books I haul around in my bag. I constantly write notes, reminders and general information - such as favorite web sites, account details, phone numbers, reminders etc etc in note books and I would like to get rid of these books and use a pda instead. Im not particually bothered about playing games or a camera but I do want to be able to get on the internet with the pda. It is important for me to be able to access my email, browse websites and preferably use yahoo/msn messenger. Also would like to be able to send photos from my digital camera or laptop to the pda so I can 'take' pics with me! Also if poss, I would like the option to use sat nav! Can you even do this with a pda?
I was gonna get a H4150 but then my dad says 'what about a clie peg UX50???
ARGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Whats the difference?? Ive read some reviews about the clie and it says there is limited software! Is this going to be a problem for what I want it for? Also Im unsure about the clie os, having never used it before! Also the clie is expensive - is it worth it?
