Default 'I need to go to the Doctor dear'

I suppose that what I could do with is a sort of 'Doctors Surgery' for PDA advice. Somewhere where I could go, and say that this is what I would like...(voice activated on approach to speed cameras....help with setting up various dial ups.......somewhere that has a 'Charlie' on board who knows what he's talking about ). I'd be more than happy to pay as well. All this downloading stuff screws me completely and yet most of what I read is exactly what I would like to do as well. How about an 'open day' at PDA where the morons amongst us can be embarressed ..... and I'm first?

Dear Doctor/s.
So, my IPAQ 4150 is now hooked up to my 6310i on Bluetooth, and I can get on to Internet Explorer using GPRS...magic.
But, when I got home last night, I turned off the Bluetooth connection and turned off the phone completely, to log on via my sons Netgear wireless thing upstairs...which has been fine. However, the Ipaq was still trying to use the Bluetooth dial up and won't allow me to now log on wirelessly....how do I sort of tell it to stop trying and switch itself off while I'm at home ?
Thanks !

Tried again tonight...blutooth is off on the IPAQ and phone is switched off. IPAQ is on for WLAN wireless. Message in box on screen that pops up says;

"Cannot Connect. Dialed *99//(hash)
Cannot connect for an unknown reason.To check your connection settings and change them if needed, tap settings. If the problem continues, reset your mobile device according to your manufactuers documentation and try again."

nb It worked fine today on bluetooth in the train.
Mike.

OK, open Activesync on the iPAQ then tap on TOOLS --> OPTIONS then tap on the MOBILE SCHEDULE tab and make sure both entries are set as MANUALLY. After that I would reset the iPAQ and see how it goes. If it's still the same have a look @ http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/f...39085+28353475 (sorry for the huge link) where you should find the answer.
