Default iPAQ h5450 - Battery Advice Please

Even with the charger plugged into the battery and charging the PDA is totally unresponsive - no screen or power lights lit.

Is this likely to be a case of a new battery required else a sympton of something more sinister?

All advice greatfully received.

I have exactly the same with a brand new 5550. on checking the battery with my avo it would seem to be a block of resin rather than a power source in other words its DEAD.

My problem is trying to get a battery so I can use the bloody PDA to go abroad on Monday is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

To say I am upset is an understatement!

Did you solve your problem mate??
