Compact Flash or SD Media Cards

Just awaiting the arrival of my HP 5450 PDA, and was wondering whether there is any difference in performance between Compact Flash or SD Media cards as the machine has slots for both I believe

Obviously I'm talking about cards of a similar volume and speed, as there is not much difference in price, but for the likes of say tomtom maps etc would one type of card provide better performance than another

sorry if this is a dumb question but a bit new to all this and dont want to make my first elementary mistake on purchasing the wrong one

Welcome to our forums.
The 5450 only has an SD slot as standard...you can purchase a jacket for the PDA that can add a CF slot. In my own opinion either card will do the job as well.
