Question Axim x3i with tom tom 3 - in car power
Hey guys, I'm very new to using a PDA and I have just ordered an Axim x3i with Tom Tom 3. Can you tell me if I need two in car port supplys for both the GPS receiver and PDA or does the GPS take the power feed from the PDA itself? note: have not got the kit yet so I'd like to be prepared to buy a new one if needed. ta

Have you ordered any hardware with the TomTom3 or is it just software?

Hey Charlie, as far as I am aware its the Tom Tom 3 package with car kit

Then your cradle will be powered from your cigarette socket and the receiver will connect to the side of cradle and take its power from there.
