Flat Battery

Does anyone know what to do when the battery has gone flat, you recharge it and all of the programmes stored on the SD card don't show on the menus anymore?

The files are still there as I can see them in explorer, but I can't run them.

Without reloading TomTom etc from scratch for the third time, is there a way that I can reload them into the start menu and carry on?
