Phone Upgrade

Hi everyone, newbe member here ...

I've got an HP 5450, which needs some updating.

Ideally, I'd like to get it sending and receiving e-mail and also to operate as a mobile 'phone.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

It appears to have all the locations for a sim card etc, but no software. Is this just an upload or do I need to consider a hardware change too ?

Welcome to our forums.
I'm afraid the SIM slot is non functional although you could turn it into a phone with the addition of a CF Jacket and a GPRS CF card.
