Prospective buyer of 5064

I have a ipaq2210 with a Tom tom 3 set up. I am thinking of buying a Tom Tom 5064 I know that I would need to change my mobile. With a 5064 connected do I have to pay any charges to O2 etc or do I just need the phone turned on. Sorry I am a bit dim when it comes to technolgy. Can someone explain in simple language please.

You will only need to have the phone turned on. You will incur no charges from O2 for using TomTom on your phone.
